Arizona Task Force Recovers Stolen Vehicles, Arrests Suspects

In early October 2024, the Arizona Department of Public Safety's Vehicle Theft Task Force (VTTF) reported progress in a car theft investigation in Tucson. Detectives uncovered three stolen vehicles linked to a car club engaged in illegal street takeovers.

Following several weeks of investigation and surveillance, the VTTF arrested five suspects. In total, they recovered four stolen vehicles and seized nine more vehicles as evidence.

The investigation is still ongoing. Authorities encourage anyone with further information to contact the Vehicle Theft Task Force at vttf@azdps.gov.
