TUSD Celebrates Students at Giving Thanks Event

On Wednesday, the Tucson Unified School District celebrated the achievements of 25 students who maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the Giving Thanks Award Recognition event. This ceremony was hosted by the Levi Wallace Foundation along with TUSD African American Student Services and TUSD itself.
The event took place at Innovation Tech High School and included catering provided by students from the JTED Culinary CTE program.
Levi Wallace, a professional football player and alumnus of Tucson High Magnet School, attended TUSD's elementary and middle schools. He remains committed to supporting students through his foundation. At the event, his mother shared encouraging remarks about his dedication to helping students succeed.
