Arizona Department of Public Safety dispatchers and call takers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at Operational Communications centers in both Phoenix and Tucson. In 2024, dispatchers answered 211,135 calls to 9-1-1 and received a total of 416,432 calls overall. This workforce supports troopers, motorists, other agencies, and the public at any time of day.
