Arizona DPS Hosts Barbecue for Telecommunicators

Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers and retired personnel hosted a barbecue for operational communications staff in honor of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. The event took place at Phoenix and Tucson locations on Wednesday and Thursday. The Coalition of DPS retirees donated chicken and steak for the cookout. The event recognized the work of dispatchers and call takers in the operational communications unit.
