The Tempe Police Department in Arizona participated in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics Arizona. Officers from Tempe joined forces with agents from the Pima County Sheriff's Office, Scottsdale Police Department, the U.S. Postal Service, Arizona State University Police, and the Scottsdalepd. The event began at Scottsdale’s training facility, with participants running along Tempe Town Lake. The run was organized to support Special Olympics Arizona.
