Boise State Students Triumph at Engineering Symposium

Boise State University teams achieved significant wins at the annual American Institute of Steel Construction and American Society of Civil Engineers Intermountain Southwest Student Symposium in Tucson. A total of 43 students and three advisors participated over three days in competitions including concrete bowling ball, concrete canoe, concrete discus, sustainable solutions, timber strong, and steel bridge. The event showcased the teams' skills in civil and structural engineering design and construction. Financial support and assistance with travel logistics were provided by Student Involvement and Leadership, ASBSU, and Sarah Wright from the COEN Dean's Office.
