Jacksonville Officers Search for Missing Endangered Man

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating David Lynn Johnson, a 61-year-old man described as an endangered adult. Johnson, who has a documented history of a traumatic brain injury and signs of dementia, was reported missing by family members after he did not return home. He was last seen at approximately 6:30 p.m. yesterday in the area of Lem Turner and Broward Road.

Authorities believe that Johnson may be driving a 2017 silver Hyundai Tucson with Florida license plate marked “REV E09.” His physical description includes a height of 5 feet 6 inches, a weight of 180 pounds, brown eyes, and bald with a grey beard. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a red t-shirt, red pants, and red shoes.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office began the search around 11:45 p.m. and is asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact them at 904-630-0500.
