K-9 Field Day Connects Students, Police in Tucson
K9 Field Day at Johnson Primary School
The Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Canine District troopers attended a K9 Field Day on May 15, 2026, at Johnson Primary School in Tucson. They joined several local law enforcement partners for the event.
Students met working K9 teams, learned about the role police canines play in public safety, and connected with officers from agencies across the community.
Officials said such events help build positive relationships and give students a firsthand look at the partnerships and dedication behind police work.
