Casa Grande Fire (CGFD) said it knows many people want to celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks like sky rockets, bottle rockets, firecrackers, and aerial explosives.

In a post shared June 25, 2026, the department said these types of fireworks are illegal for a reason and that firefighters have seen preventable injuries, fires, and tragedies tied to them. CGFD said a few moments of excitement are not worth long-term consequences.

The department urged residents to celebrate safely this Independence Day by leaving the “big fireworks” to professionals and using legal fireworks responsibly.
