Tucson JCC Announces Upcoming Events and Programs

The Tucson Jewish Community Center (JCC) has a series of upcoming events and programs taking place over the next few months.
Currently, the Project Isaiah Food Drive is ongoing and will run through October 25. Participants can make a monetary donation or drop off non-perishable food items at designated locations, including the JCC.
From October 15 to 22, the "Aging + Social Connections: Let's Get Together + Talk Series" will occur, followed by a new "Relationships + Health Education Series" from October 29 to November 12.
On October 24, there will be a Self-Portrait Mixed Media Art Workshop. The Celebration of Sculpture event is scheduled for October 27, and attendees are encouraged not to miss the SCULPT exhibit in the Fine Art Gallery.
On October 29, the JPride Night of Queer Horror will feature a screening of the 2013 film "Under the Skin," starring Scarlett Johansson, taking place at Unscrewed Theater.
Additionally, on November 3, Dr. Keren R. McGinity will lead a discussion on intermarriage, aimed at fostering communal conversations and inclusion.
From November 10 to December 22, the program "Soil + Soul - Gardening as a Jewish + Zionist Spiritual Experience" will be led by Lev Metz.
On November 15, a Southern Arizona Community Shabbat will occur at the JCC.
Finally, on December 8, the Annual Hanukkah Hot Cocoa Run will feature a timed 5k and 1-mile race, as well as a free untimed 1k run suitable for all ages and abilities, along with a Double Chocolate 5k/1m combo option.
